Scott C. Briggs

Scott C. Briggs passed away suddenly Feb. 4, 2023. He was born in Hartford Ct. on April 29, 1968 to parents George and Jerilyn. He is survived by his parents, his sons Colin, of Boston Ma., Justin of Wilmington, NY. He also leaves his brother, Ron (Joanne) of Bolton, CT and partner Debra Beaney of Peru, NY. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Scott moved to the North Country when he was 15 and spent the remainder of his life in the Adirondacks. He served on the Wilmington fire Dept, was at one time a member of the Elizabethtown Kiwanis and most recently employed at Moore’s Recycling in Keeseville. Scott was passionate about his country, his family, and his Harley Davidson.

He worked with and shared his love of Antique Automobiles and Antique Fire Engines with his dad. His sense of humor and love of life were a treasure, and you never had to wonder where you stood in Scott’s eyes and he was fiercely loyal to all he loved.

Interment will be private at the family’s convenience and a celebration of Scott’s life will be held in the spring.

Arrangements have bee entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
