Ramona Cross

Ramona Jane Cross passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on May 3, 1929, in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, to Zenobian Koontz and Virginia Dula, she spent her life nurturing those around her with love and kindness.

Ramona dedicated her life to creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family. Her greatest joys were found in crafting beautiful works of art, spending time on the golf course, and getting lost in the pages of a good book.

In her later years, Ramona embraced the open road, traveling across the country with her beloved husband in their fifth wheel, creating treasured memories and experiencing the beauty of nature together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Al; two sons, Michael and Stephen; and her parents.

She is survived by her children Ben and Ann McKenna of Richmond, Virginia, Mark McKenna of Pennsylvania, Francis McKenna of Pennsylvania, and Jeffrey McKenna of Willsboro; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.
