Paul Gelineau

April 7, 1985 — February 18, 2024

Paul Adrian Gelineau, 38, passed away on February 18, 2024 in Elizabethtown. He was born on April 7, 1985, in Burlington, VT.

Paul found his passion in snowboarding and spent countless joyful hours carving up the slopes of Whiteface Mountain. He truly felt at home amidst the snow-capped peaks and crisp mountain air.

Known for his green thumb and love for grilling, Paul also found peace in tending to his garden and cooking up a storm on the BBQ. His adventurous spirit was matched only by his dedication to his family - wife Brandy and children Preston, Kansas, and Koert, who were his greatest pride and joy. Paul cherished every moment spent cruising around town with Brandy by his side, relishing in the simple pleasures of life.

Paul's uncle Brent was by his side his entire life. Paul and Brent spent nearly every day together, from his childhood on. Together they taught each other the importance of family, how to get through the bumps in the road and how to celebrate all the wonderful things Paul experienced throughout his life. One of their most treasured things they did together was when they went hunting and fishing. Brent taught Paul all the tips and tricks he needed to know to be successful at hunting and fishing, but also to have fun along the way.

He is survived by his wife Brandy; his children Preston, Kansas, and Koert; his mother Kristin and step-father Robert Gifford; his siblings Daniel, Nycole, and Madison; his uncles Brent, Jason, and David; his grandparents Rita Heath and Leon Gelineau and nephew Blake. He is also survived by Gordon Costin, who was like a father to him, played an instrumental role in shaping the man Paul became and will forever hold a special place in his heart.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Paul's life from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on February 29, 2024 at the Keene Community Center. It will be a time of reflection, sharing stories, and honoring the legacy of a man who loved deeply, lived passionately, and brought light to all who knew him.

Let us come together to celebrate the remarkable life of Paul Gelineau, a man who embraced every moment with open arms and a contagious enthusiasm for life. May his memory continue to inspire us all to live boldly and love fiercely.
