Mary "Maureen" Walker

Mary M. "Maureen" Walker of Plattsburgh, NY died on October 14, 2025.

Maureen was born in County Kerry, Ireland on July 20, 1933, the daughter of the late Mary and John Riordan

She is survived by her loving daughter Hazel Dwyer and her son-in-law David Dwyer; granddaughter Jennifer Dwyer, grandson James Dwyer; great-granddaughter Maya Dwyer; her sister Rosemary Williams and brother-in-law John Williams; several nieces and nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Ross W. Walker; her brother Anthony Riordan; and her sister Dolores Riordan.

Calling hours will be on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Heidrick Funeral Home, 48 Court St., Plattsburgh with interment to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh.

Maureen requested no flowers and for contributions to be made in her name to the Interfaith Food Shelf, 127 Beekman St., Plattsburgh, NY 12901.

Services were entrusted to Heidrick Funeral Home, 48 Court St., Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
