Marie Manotte Phadael, 89, of Plattsburgh, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, in Plattsburgh.

She was born on March 9, 1937, in Saint-Marc, Haiti, the daughter of the late Aresius Pierre-Louis and Marielle Florestal.

Marie is survived by her children, Lovel Phadael, Diane F. Pulliam, Fanel Phadael, Rhita Phadael, and Judith P. Pierrot; and by her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, Jonathan Pulliam, Gérald Pierrot, Rifine R. Phadaël, and Liggie C. Phadael.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Fan, Alexandra Nonez and her husband, Farah, Gregory Fallens, Fainy, Diane Lois P. Brown and her husband, Jeffrey, Steff-Fanelle and her husband, Fagginie, Megane-Hanne, Enulka, Faneicka, and Christyne; and by her great-grandchildren, Jimsandre, Carla, Yves Alex, Elijah, Marvens, Adam, Urie, Brooklyn, and Yvie.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frano Jacques Phadael; her daughter, Manette Phadael; and her parents, Aresius Pierre-Louis and Marielle Florestal.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, at Heidrick Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
