Margaret Ann "Margie" Place passed away on December 23, 2025. She is survived by her loving sisters, Barbara (Davis) and Tina Place; her brother‑in‑law, Lou; and her two cherished nephews, Bobby and Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ann Marie Place.

Margie was dearly loved by her family and friends, including all those at Mountain Lakes Services who were entrusted with her care for many years. They not only cared for her with devotion, but also gave her love, joy, and a sense of belonging that enriched her life in countless ways. The joy she brought to them-and the joy they brought to her-will be remembered always.

Margie loved music and dancing, and she never missed a chance to call for "big parties" filled with her favorites: pizza, cake, candy, and ice cream. Her beautiful face, her gentle spirit, and all that she gave to this world-often without realizing the depth of her impact-will be profoundly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 16, 2026 at Mountain Lake Services, in Willsboro, NY. Margie will be laid to rest on March 28, 2026 with her parents at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY, in a Catholic interment.
