Karen Fraser passed away at the age of 79 on February 14, 2024, in Elizabethtown, NY. Loving daughter to John and Florence Jackson, and incredible eldest sister to her siblings, her journey began in Trenton, NJ on July 31, 1944. Karen was a dedicated mother to her daughter Michelle and son Bobby, whom she cherished dearly.
Throughout her life, Karen wore many hats and excelled in each role she took on. A talented dental assistant by profession, she brought smiles to the faces of countless patients with her caring approach. Karen's passion for creativity shone through in her various hobbies; from being a beauty queen to dazzling the crowd as a clown in parades, she never failed to entertain. Her knack for humor and quick wit earned her the title of the family comedian, with a repertoire of one-liners that brought joy to all who knew her.
Karen's talents extended beyond comedy and dentistry; she was a skilled seamstress, antique collector, painter, and interior decorator. Her flair for aesthetics was admired by many, as she effortlessly transformed spaces into works of art. Despite her myriad of talents, Karen's most cherished role was that of a proud U.S. Air Force wife.
She was preceded in death by her brother Glen Gotwals.
She is survived by her children, Bobby (Sheri Trout) Fraser, and Michelle (Norm) McGee; her siblings Bob Jackson (Mary Ann), Don Jackson (Tina), Al Jackson (Doreen), and Patty Jackson (Chris Chalupa).
Interment will take place at Crosswicks Cemetery in New Jersey at a later date with the family.
As we bid farewell to Karen, may we carry forward her legacy of laughter, creativity, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
