Julia McPheeters passed away on October 25, 2015, at Essex Center in Elizabethtown, New York at the age of 97. She was born in Taegu, Korea July 13, 1918, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs George H. Winn, Presbyterian missionary parents.
She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Rev. Dr. Chilton C. McPheeters. They moved to Willsboro, New York upon Dr. McPheeters retirement as a United Methodist minister in June 1980. Julia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Tina and Bruce Eickhoff, by her son and daughter-in-law Merle and Paula McPheeters, by her son and daughter-in-law Chilton W. and Loy McPheeters, and her six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Per Julia’s wishes there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Marvin-Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown.
