ALTONA, NY-Joseph "Joe" "Joey" "Joe-Joe" E. O'Malley, of Gardner, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Born in Gardner on October 3, 1974, he was the son of Joseph O'Malley and Bette Lou (Race) Dower. Joe spent most of his life in Gardner, Templeton and Winchendon until moving a couple of years ago to upstate Altona, New York. Joe attended Monty Tech for culinary arts and worked in the restaurant industry throughout the years. He loved to cook.
Besides his mother and her husband Jack Dower of Gardner, Joe is survived by his three amazing daughters, Meagan and her husband Kyle Levasseur of Gardner, McKenzie O'Malley of Gardner, and McKayla O'Malley and her significant other David Gravlin Jr. of Gardner; three beautiful grandchildren, Owen, Scarlett, and Levi, whom he loved dearly; his beloved brothers and sisters, Nichole (O'Malley) Leazott and her husband George Leazott of Royalston, Max O'Malley and his wife Jamie O'Malley of Gardner, Maxine O'Malley of Florida, and Patrick O'Malley of Altona, NY; many nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, along with many cousins and great friends, who were a big part of his life.
Joe is predeceased by his father, Joseph O'Malley.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 24, 2024, at the American Legion Post 193, 295 School Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.
