Joseph Barrette

Joseph “Peter” Barrette, 73, of Bushey BLVD. and formerly of Saranac, passed away Saturday November 9, 2013 at Evergreen Valley nursing Home in Plattsburgh. He was born in Canada on September 12, 1940. Peter worked for Raymark Farm in Saranac until his retirement in 2001. He continued working part time for the Manley Farm in Dannemora until the fall of 2009. Peter lived at the Valehaven Home in Peru, Valehaven Home in Malone and finally Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. Peter was a friend to many and will be missed by all. A graveside service will be held Monday November 18, 2013 at 11:00 in Saranac Independence Cemetery in Saranac. Donation in Peter’s memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center in Plattsburgh. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
