John Pedro

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of John William Pedro on April 25, 2025, at the age of 75. A lifelong resident of Willsboro, New York, John was born on December 15, 1949, to John J. and Margaret Pedro. He graduated from Willsboro Central School in 1969 and dedicated over 45 years of his life to his craft as an electrician, earning respect and admiration in the community through his work at NYCO Minerals, alongside his ventures as the owner of Adirondack Electric.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Lisa Pedro, of Saranac Lake; his sister, Linda Kennedy, of Stuart, Florida; his cherished grandsons, Dylan Pedro of Lake Placid, Damian Cox of Plattsburgh, and Hunter Magee of Saranac Lake; and his great-grandson, Paxton Pedro, of Lake Placid. He will also be missed by his longtime close friend, Allen Dybas, of Willsboro, who shared countless memories and adventures with him.

In his leisure time, John found joy in fishing and hunting, where he could often be found in the great outdoors. He also had a natural talent for carpentry and loved to lend a helping hand to others with various projects after his retirement in 2016.

John is predeceased by his parents, Margaret (2004) and John J. Pedro (2007), and his nephew, Emmett Coonrod (2024). He leaves behind a profound legacy of kindness, hard work, and the importance of family, reminding us all to cherish the moments spent with loved ones.

Services will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
