Jane Harer

Mrs. Jane E. Harer, 87 of Elizabethtown, NY passed away on February 25, 2024, at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

She was born in Cadyville, NY on August 23, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Leona O'Connell.

She is survived by her son Richard (Karen) Harer of Martinsburg, WV; her brother Charles (Maie) O'Connell of Morrisonville, her sister Ramona (Bill) Lechowit of Dayton, TX; her two granddaughters Taylor and Jill Harer.

She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Leona O'Connell; her brothers Jack and Robert O'Connell, her sisters Ruth Duquette and Helena O'Connell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. James Church in Cadyville. Interment will be at the St. James Cemetery.
