Donald Doyle peacefully left this world on February 14, 2024, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his beloved family. He was 93 years old.

Born on June 2, 1930, Donald lived a life filled with love, adventure, and a deep passion for helping others. While we may mourn his departure, let us also celebrate the wonderful memories he leaves behind.

In his younger days, Donald proudly served active duty in the United States Air Force from 1947 to 1950 and then served in the Reserves from 1950-1955. His dedication to his country was a source of great pride for him throughout his lifetime. After his military service, Donald pursued a career as a miner, working tirelessly in the mining industry.

Beyond his profession, Donald was a man who knew how to appreciate the simple pleasures in life. He held a profound affection for the great outdoors, and his love for hunting was well known among his family and friends. He was always happiest when surrounded by nature, whether it was during long country rides to nowhere or spending time mowing his own yard.

In his younger years, Donald and his wife Grace embarked on thrilling motorcycle rides, each with their own bikes, creating countless memories along the open roads. Travel also held a special place in Donald's heart, with family vacations being a cherished tradition. The golden sands of Wildwood, New Jersey, were a favorite destination, but it was in Hawaii, particularly at Pearl Harbor, where Donald found a deep appreciation for history and reverence for the sacrifices made by the countless men and women who served the country as he did.

Family meant the world to Donald, and he treasured the moments spent together. Christmas was always a magical time in the Doyle household, filled with laughter, love, and joyful festivities. Donald's children, Brenda (Sterling) Hathaway, David (Brenda) Doyle, and Gary (Margaret) Doyle, were his pride and joy, and his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren brought endless happiness to his life.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace; his parents Arthur and Grace Doyle; and great-grandson Anthony.

Donald will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever resonate within our hearts, inspiring us to live each day with the same kindness, dedication, and love he so graciously bestowed upon us all. As we come together to honor his life, let us celebrate the countless memories that we hold dear.
