Beverly Moran

May 26, 1938 — April 29, 2025

Beverly Ellen Pierce Moran of Reber Road in Willsboro, New York joined all the angels in Heaven, surrounded by her loving family, on April 29, 2025, at the age of 86.

Born May 26, 1938 in Essex, New York to Floyd and Adelaide (Hathaway) Pierce - she was the 5th of their 13 children.

Beverly graduated from Willsboro Central School. While at school she was very active in the school band playing various musical instruments. She absolutely loved music - calling square dances, singing in the church choir, being a part of the various senior musicals - and you could always hear her humming a tune.

She married her high school sweetheart Leamon on June 1, 1958, and they raised 4 children on their family dairy farm in Reber. They loved to sing, dance, volunteer and make people laugh. She was his "secretary" for the Essex County Fire Police for many years.

Beverly worked numerous jobs growing up - summers in apple orchards, a lifetime of farming alongside her husband Leamon and banking for 12 years. After her banking career she decided to enter politics and became the Willsboro Town Clerk and Tax Collector for about 30 years. Beverly felt that the Town work was her favorite and most rewarding job - next to being a mom and grandmother. One of her most favorite things to do was to make her homemade tomato, hamburg and macaroni soup for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beverly was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her three sons Bryon "Scott" (Krista) Moran, Rodney Steven "Buggy" (Shelley) Moran, Michael Leamon (companion Brenda) Moran and her daughter Suzette Marie (William) Kocher. Her sisters and brothers-in-law Vesta Spring, Doris Colburn, Barbara (Nathan) Gough, Debbie (Pete) Heald, Faylene (Harold) Montville. Her brothers and sisters-in-law Bruce (Kim) Pierce, Floyd (Rosemarie) Pierce and Steve Pierce; twelve grandchildren - Bridget, Sean (Baylee), Emily, Olivia, Whitney, Shelby, Robbie, Michael II, Ashley (Ben), Savannah, Christian and Megan and eight great-grandchildren - Bexley, Aidan, Maci, Meave, Emma Grace, Sophia, Oakland, ShawnPaul, Nash and Hadley.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

She is also survived by very special friends, Tammy Moran, Juanita Munoz, Jane Gay, Ashley Blanchard and Martin Keech; and her faithful furry friend and constant companion "Kitty Kat" and her horse "Rambo".

She was predeceased by her parents Floyd and Adelaide Pierce; husband, Leamon Stafford Moran; and grandson Matthieu Moran; her sisters Alice Goucher, Faye Bigelow, Sheila Keech and brother Atwood Pierce; brothers-in-law Guy Moran, Robert Spring, Bernard Colburn, Red Bigelow and sisters-in-law Marlene Pierce, Carrie Pierce and Linda Pierce.
