Betty Lou MacDougal, age 77, of Elizabethtown, NY, died June 28, 2022, at Burlington Hospital. She was born on October 15, 1944, to Melvin and Beatrice Campney in Gloversville.
She worked taking care of many elderly, homebound patients and retired from being a Home Health Aide after many years.
Betty is survived by her husband, Roger MacDougal and son, Harold MacDougal; Bonnie Hammond, Candy Hammond, Penny Mitchell, and Dennis Hammond and enjoyed many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a care giver to her husband of 51 years and her special needs son. Her love was taking care of people and dogs and oh, did Betty love her dogs – all 5 of them – LARGE and small! Her favorite breed was the Pug.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday July 5, 2022 at Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown.
