Amy DuBrey-Wilson, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away in her home, under the care of hospice surrounded by loved ones on April 16, 2026. Amy was a lifelong resident of Lyon Mountain and later Plattsburgh, NY where she passed. Amy was born September 14, 1962, to Victor and Patricia (Toussaint) DuBrey of Chazy Lake.
Amy was a kind and compassionate soul, always with a smile and caring words. The greatest joy in her life were her grandchildren, whom she loved spending time with. She tried to attend all their games from basketball, soccer to wrestling or other ball games. An avid fan of anything they played at. Amy formed many friendships throughout the years with coworkers, a few remained dear friends and stayed close to her. Amy had a commitment to helping others in need and showcased a selfless nature.
Amy graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School and joined the Army. After receiving an honorable discharge, she continued as a reservist and spent time in Germany during Desert Storm.
Amy is predeceased by her parents, her husband Richard E. Wilson, her brother Lee DuBrey, her sisters Michelle Dubrey-Lagoy and Brenda DuBrey-Clukey.
Amy leaves behind cherished family members, daughters Rachael Burdick, Irene Levasseur and her spouse Josh Levasseur, Amanda Wilson, and Madeline Wilson, a stepdaughter Rebecca Wilson; six grandchildren Liam, Jayce, Benjamin, Amelia, Raymond, and Carson; brothers Victor DuBrey Jr., Mark Dubrey and his wife Cynthia, sister Jane DuBrey Venne and her husband Michael; aunt Viola O'Neil and Barbara Desimone; brothers-in-law Lloyd Clukey and Wayne LaGoy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 1st, 2026 at 11:00 at St. Bernards Church in Lyon Mountain. Interment will take place at St. Bernards Cemetery following the services.
In honor of her memory, let us gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who brought laughter and love into the lives of all who knew her. Rest in peace Amy, your kindness will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
